I am a reentry rider after 15 years since selling my Suzuki GS450E. I went to the Suzuki/Honda dealership
inspired by all the good things I hear about the Savage. They tell me that they haven't sold one in years and that they don't keep one in their lot. They told me I'd be better off to buy the Honda Shadow VLX because it rides more comfortable and is more powerful and dependable. With Suzuki dealers like this, who needs competitors? I was gold that the Savage is too light and squirrely on the highways on windy days. Can someone set me straight. Savage or Shadow?
